Caldirola Bike Park (also known as Caldirock) is in Caldirola, in the La Gioia area, in the Parco dell'Alta Val Curone, on the slopes of Monte Gropà and Monte Giarolo, roughly equidistant from Milan, Genoa and Turin.
It has 11 trails served by a chairlift: 4 downhill, 3 freeride, 3 all-mountain and 1 cross-country, from runs for beginners to ones that challenge experienced riders, with jumps (with bypass options), berms and technical sections. One of the best known is the Charlie Race, once a stage of the Gravitalia circuit.
The bike park is open every weekend from late March to late November, 9:30 to 17:00, and every day in August, 9:30 to 18:00. Always check the latest updates on the official website before you go.
