National White Truffle Fair: what to know
The truffle market fair of San Sebastiano Curone takes place every November and has been recognised as a National Fair since 2008. The main days are the third and fourth Sunday of November.
The village fills with food stalls, the white truffle market and truffle-dog competitions.
It is an old tradition: letters from the 15th century already tell of Tortona notables sending truffles from the Val Curone hills to the Dukes of Milan.
