Where to stay
Lùlù Guest House is in Dernice, a few kilometres from San Sebastiano Curone: the ideal base to visit the village and sleep in the quiet of the hills.
San Sebastiano Curone lies where the Curone and Museglia streams meet. It was part of the Imperial Fiefs and an important stop on the salt road linking the Ligurian Sea to the Po Valley.
In the old centre you can visit the Archivio Pittor Giani in Piazza Roma and the Archivio Piero Leddi in the Casa del Principe Doria, which host exhibitions and events, and the early-1900s theatre of the SMS Stella d'Italia, recently restored.
The village is known for its white truffle: every November it hosts the National Truffle Fair.
